Chip Irek

Chip Irek has extensive experience in technology leadership and management roles. Chip is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Safety Plus, where they are responsible for establishing the technical vision and leading the re-platforming efforts to drive growth. Prior to that, they worked at The Laidir Group as a Fractional CxO and Management Consultant, providing leadership to small businesses and startups. Chip also held the position of CTO at TEAM Software and Marquis Software Solutions Inc., where they successfully implemented technology strategies and led the transformation of the technology organizations. Chip has also worked at The Stanley Gibbons Group plc, JAGGAER (formerly known as SciQuest), Diagnosoft, Inc., GlaxoSmithKline, and IBM in various technology management roles. Chip has a strong track record of delivering successful projects, managing global teams, and creating innovative solutions.

Chip Irek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Penn State University in 1989. Chip later pursued an MBA in IT and Business Management from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, completing their studies between 1998 and 2001.
