Safety Product is developer and manufacturer of passive safe road infrastructure.
The ZIPpole and ZIPpole3XL are steel poles to be used for street lighting, cameras, solar street lighting, signs, traffic lights... designed with the advantage to bend in a car crash and save lives. If hit, the pole yields and the energy of the impact will be absorbed to slow down the vehicle in a controlled way.

A lot of people get injured by driving into obstacles close to the road. It doesn't have to be that way. Traffic safety is not only maintaining roads, designing safe cars and educating roadusers. It is also creating safe roadsides, make them "forgiving roadsides" by using passive safe road infrastructure.

All products are CE marked for EN12767 so there is no need to install a barrier in front of them. EN12767 describes how to crash test and evaluate passive safe, vertical road infrastructure.
How and where to use them? In a road design, risk analysis and road mapping will point out priorities on where to use passive safe road infrastructure.
