Steven Guichard

Steven Guichard is an experienced entrepreneur and technology leader with a focus on software development and automation. As the Founder of SafetyKit since April 2023, Steven has leveraged language models to streamline operations for companies like Stripe and Airbnb. Prior to this, Steven served as CEO and VP of Engineering at Carbic from July 2018 to March 2022, and was a Partner/Developer at Thomas Street from August 2012 to June 2018, specializing in user interface design and rapid prototyping. Steven co-founded GetCounting in early 2012, aimed at assisting guardians and trustees with asset management. Earlier career roles included Portfolio Manager at Empirical Wealth Management and Chief Operating Officer at Directional Financial Services. Steven began career development with an internship at Empirical Wealth Management and holds a B.S. cum laude in Economics and Applied and Computational Math Sciences from the University of Washington, earned in 2007.
