Michael Villegas

Michael Villegas has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of construction management. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President at SafeworkCM since February 2020. Before that, they worked at Kitchell as a Project Director from May 2016 to February 2020. Prior to that, they held the same role at Vanir Construction Management from August 2014 to May 2016.

Michael'searlier experience includes working as a Senior Project Manager at Kitchell from March 2008 to August 2014, where they managed a $500 million bond program involving renovations and new constructions. Michael also worked as a Project Manager at Barnhart Balfour Beatty from 2003 to 2008, where they were responsible for managing projects from start to finish and conducting constructability reviews. Michael'searliest recorded experience was as a Site Inspector at Penhall Company, where they managed extra work bills and assisted with project scheduling and cost reports.

Michael Villegas, CCM, LEED AP, QSP, Assoc. DBIA obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
