We’re taking the next step toward building safer and more inclusive mobility for women.

At SAFIRRAH, we are planning a Salaried Women Entrepreneurship Program aimed at creating structured career opportunities in the banking and logistics sectors, exclusively for women. Through this initiative, we are working toward offering dignified, salaried careers supported by essential allowances, including medical and education support, bikes, uniforms, basic necessities, freedom of movement, flexibility for offering prayers, and access to women-friendly rest centers across Karachi.

Our vision is not limited to building SAFIRRAH alone. Alongside growing our own startup, we are committed to supporting, mentoring, and inspiring other startups by sharing our journey, progress, and learnings, so more impact-driven initiatives can emerge.

In just one week, our journey has already taken meaningful direction. During a recent convention, we engaged in industry networking and connected with like-minded individuals and organizations. Through these interactions, one of Pakistan’s leading logistics companies, TCS, initiated a discussion with us around a career development program, marking an important milestone for our vision.

As we took women’s daily commute challenges to the market level, one critical insight became clear: safe mobility requires infrastructure. Addressing daily commuting challenges means developing approximately 1,500 women-friendly rest and support centers across Karachi. When the cost of a single rest center is multiplied at this scale, it becomes evident that this level of infrastructure cannot be built independently. This is where collaboration and institutional support become essential. Our question to potential partners is simple and direct: out of these 1,500 centers, how many can you help build with us?
