Laurent Batailler was the Head of the Gas Turbine Pre-design Team at Safran from 2017 to 2025. During this time, they held various positions including Responsable Groupe Conception Mécaniques and Engine Architect. Prior to this, they served as the Mechanical Work Package Leader for Boeing APU at Safran Power Units. Laurent earned a BTS in Conception des Produits Industrialisés from Lycee Jean Dupuy Tarbes and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering from Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers.
