Raphael Sheffield currently serves as the General Manager of Safran Aircraft Engines Poland, overseeing an aircraft engine blade machining facility and a research & development centre since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of simulation and COO at ECA Group, where leadership in the simulation domain resulted in innovative training solutions and safety products for various industry sectors from December 2019 to July 2023. Previously, Sheffield was the Strategy and Business Development Director at SIMRA HOLDING, responsible for strategic repositioning of the aerospace division across multiple countries. A significant tenure at Airbus included various leadership positions focusing on aircraft systems strategy, technical marketing, and logistics for the A380 program. Additional experience includes serving as the District Chief for French governmental operations in the Crozet Archipelago and roles in materials management and engineering with BASCO and B/E Aerospace. Raphael Sheffield holds a BSc in Logistics from Aston University.
