Ryan Thompson is an Engineering Manager with extensive experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams to deliver a variety of products in engine testing. They served as an Electrical & Computer Engineering Manager at Safran from 2019 to 2024, overseeing the design and development of jet engine testing facilities. Additionally, Ryan has been an Independent Contractor since 2013, providing consulting services in UAS technology and leading projects such as a CNC controller system. Previously, they held roles at ReconRobotics, Inc. and co-founded Xollai, LLC, where they developed UAS products for the Department of Defense. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas in 2008 and is currently the Research and Development Manager at Safran.
