Stéphane Cueille

SEVP, CTO, R&T & Innovation at Safran

Stéphane Cueille is the SEVP, CTO, R&T & Innovation at Safran. Stéphane has held this position since July 2016. Prior to this, they were the Director of Safran Tech, Safran's corporate Research & Technology center, from January 2014 to June 2016. From February 2010 to April 2013, they were the Director, Turbine Airfoils Center of Excellence at Snecma, responsible for the design, internal production and external supply chain of turbine airfoils. From December 2008 to February 2010, they were the MRO Director, Military Engine Division at Snecma. From May 2013 to December 2014, they were the Director, Aircelle Ltd. From January 2005 to December 2008, they were in charge of the Missiles-Space unit, Industrial Affairs Department at the Délégation générale de l'armement, developing Industrial Strategy for the Ministry of Defence in the field of Missiles Launchers and satellites. From January 2001 to December 2005, they were the Manager, Missions for the aircraft propulsion sector at the Délégation générale de l'armement.

Stéphane Cueille completed an engineering degree at École Polytechnique before completing business programs at IMD. Stéphane then obtained their doctorate in theoretical and mathematical physics from Université Toulouse Paul Sabatier.
