Tom Love is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Tom has held various leadership roles at Safran, including Systems Engineering Group Leader and Design and Analysis Engineering Group Leader from December 2022 to March 2025, as well as Research and Technology Project Leader at Safran Landing Systems from May 2018 to January 2023. Prior to this, Tom gained valuable experience at Rolls-Royce, serving as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, and Integrated Project Team Lead from July 2013 to July 2015, focusing on leading source change and capability acquisition programs. Tom began the career as an Industrial Placement Student at Aero Engine Controls in June 2010. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Bath, earned between 2008 and 2013, and completed high school at Tollbar Business and Enterprise College from 2001 to 2008.
