Walid Belguerras is currently a Project Design Authority at Safran, specializing in electrical engineering and electromechanical systems. They previously served as a PhD Researcher at Laboratoire femto-st, focusing on multi-physics modeling and optimization of electromechanical actuators. Walid has held positions as a Rotating Electrical Machines Engineer at Thales and a Motor Design Engineer at ERNEO, where they worked on vibro-acoustic design for various electric motors. They completed their postdoctoral research at Université de Lorraine, where they developed magnetic and thermal models for aerospace applications. Walid earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
