Laura Coustan is a Research Scientist at Saft, specializing in the development of polymer electrolytes for solid-state batteries since September 2019. Her work focuses on enhancing the safety and performance of Li-ion and Li-M batteries through innovative electrolyte formulations and extensive safety evaluations. Prior to this, Laura served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Collège de France, where research involved hybrid electrolytes for sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells. Laura's earlier experience includes a Post Doctoral Research role at NanoQAM, focused on aqueous rechargeable lithium batteries, and a PhD at CNRS, where research centered on pseudo-capacitive materials for flexible supercapacitors. Laura holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Montpellier.
