Jake Bodanis

Jake Bodanis is a Principal, Portage Ventures at Sagard and joined the firm in 2019. As a member of Portage, Jake invests in early-stage and growth-stage fintech opportunities globally. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Within the investment portfolio, Jake is a board observer of Conquest Planning. He is based in Montreal, Canada.

Prior to Sagard, Jake worked in the Private Equity group at PSP Investments where he worked on leveraged buyouts and structured investment transactions in the financial services, technology, and retail sectors.

Jake holds a B.A. in Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Dean’s Honour List).
