David Darwent is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and service delivery. Currently serving as a Live Services Specialist at Sage since July 2013, David focuses on Microsoft Azure and AWS while facilitating the transition to CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. Prior roles include ITO Service Delivery Consultant III at HP Enterprise Services and Server Architect at BSI. David has also worked as an Infrastructure Consultant, IT Consultant, and Rental Tech, alongside various other specialized positions in storage management and implementation. David holds a BSc(Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth, completed in 2002. A career break from 2007 to 2009 allowed for personal travel and leisure in Canada and the Caribbean.
