Michael Baccich

Michael Baccich is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Development at Sage since May 2021, where responsibilities include driving mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and other strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Michael held several positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2014 to May 2021, including Director of Corporate Development and Director of Emerging Growth & Regional Coverage Investment Banking, where advisory services were provided to clients on various financial transactions. Michael began the investment banking career as a Vice President in Global Industrials Investment Banking and was appointed by the Global COO to join the Emerging Growth & Regional Coverage platform. Earlier experience includes positions at BB&T Capital Markets and C2 Education, where foundational skills in structured finance and education were developed. Michael holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.A. in Political Science, Spanish, and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
