Michael Dawson

Michael Dawson is a skilled IT professional with extensive experience in cloud operations and technology consulting. Currently serving as a Cloud Operations Engineer at Sage since October 2022, Michael previously held the position of Senior Technology Consultant at Waterstons, where responsibilities included providing IT management and support to clients. Prior to that, Michael was the Head of Systems at North East Chamber of Commerce, overseeing a team responsible for maintaining IT systems for multiple entities and supporting a large network of devices and users. Previous roles include Technical Project Manager at both Thorn Lighting and Atos Origin, focusing on maintaining IT standards and managing ERP systems, as well as a Communications Analyst at Zumtobel. Michael began a career in IT as a Technical Support Analyst at Flymo, following a progression from IBM AS/400 Computer Operator.
