Tom McIlroy

Tom McIlroy is a communication professional with extensive experience in internal and colleague communications. As the Founder of Comms Planner since April 2025, Tom leads initiatives in communication strategy. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Colleague Communications Executive at Sage from April 2022 and held the position of Employee Communications Executive at RSA from January 2021 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes working as an Internal Communication Consultant at Architas and in various roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, including Internal Communications Editorial Consultant and General Management Graduate. Tom holds a B.A. Hons in English Literature from Lancaster University, attended from 2010 to 2013, and graduated from Westcliff High School for Boys in June 2009.
