Julia Munck

Julia Munck has a diverse work experience in the gaming and technology industry spanning over two decades. Julia is currently the Founder and CEO of Saged, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Linden Lab as the VP of Product for Sansar from September 2018 to December 2020.

Julia also has an extensive history with Big Fish Games, where they held multiple roles. Julia was the VP of Product & Marketing at the Oakland studio of Self Aware Games, a Big Fish Games subsidiary, from July 2016 to September 2018. Before that, they held the position of Sr Director of Product Management & Marketing from December 2014 to June 2016, and the role of Director of Product Management from July 2014 to December 2014.

Before joining Big Fish Games, Julia briefly worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as the Director of Franchise Partnerships/Mobile Games from March 2014 to June 2014. Prior to that, they had a significant tenure at Electronic Arts, starting as the Head of Production/Sr Producer for Pogo.com from April 2013 to June 2014. Julia then became the Director of Distribution and Partnerships for Pogo.com from December 2011 to April 2013. Julia also worked as the Director of Product Management for Pogo.com from January 2010 to December 2011 and was the Lead Producer for Pogo EU from April 2006 to December 2009. Their career at Electronic Arts began with the role of Producer for Pogo Mobile from June 2005 to March 2006.

Julia also gained experience at Digital Chocolate, where they worked as a Producer from April 2004 to June 2005, overseeing the production of various mobile games and apps. Julia started their career at Sorrent (Glu Mobile) as a Producer from February 2003 to April 2004. Before that, they worked as a Game Studio Manager at Vision Park Entertainment from January 1998 to June 2001, where they successfully launched the adventure/strategy PC game franchise POLIS for the Nordic market.

Julia Munck obtained a Master's degree in Business from Uppsala University between 1994 and 1998. In 1997, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from KEDGE Business School. Furthermore, in June 2011, Julia obtained a certification in CSPO from Agile Learning Labs.
