Eileen Buttimer

Eileen Buttimer is a Senior Vice President at Sagentia Innovation. Eileen has over 20 years of experience in the innovation field. Prior to joining Sagentia, Eileen was the Director at Oakland Innovation. There, they led a team of over 100 engineers and scientists that developed new products and processes for the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries.

Eileen has also worked as an Applications Manager at DuPont and a Fermentation Analytical Services Manager at Pfizer. In these roles, they were responsible for developing new applications for innovative products and processes.

Eileen is a highly respected innovator in the industry. Eileen has been awarded over 20 patents and has published numerous articles in scientific journals.

Eileen Buttimer has a master of business administration from Henley Business School, a master of science from the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, and a doctor of philosophy from the University of Birmingham.

They work with Phil Mackie - Managing Partner, Food & Beverage, Duncan Smith - Managing Partner – Medical, and Alun James - Managing Partner & CTO – Industrial. Their manager is Paul Wilkins, Managing Director.
