Regional Product Manager at Sager Electronics

Al Patterson has extensive experience in various roles within the electronics industry. Al started their career at Sager Electronics in 1998, where they worked as a Buyer and Product/Marketing Manager until 2000. Al then worked at Glynn Electronics as a Senior Buyer from 2002 to 2004.

In 2004, Al joined Sensata Technologies as the National Distribution Sales Manager. Al was responsible for managing the North American Distribution Sales Channel and developing the overall distribution strategy. Al successfully closed major business sales opportunities and maintained and negotiated distributor franchise agreements. Al remained with Sensata Technologies until at least 2010.

From 2012 to 2013, Al worked at Global Connector Technology as a Regional Sales Manager. Al was accountable for annual sales and operating budgets and played a key role in identifying and notifying marketing and engineering of new product needs and technologies.

Al then spent three years at Component Sources International, Inc from 2013 to 2016, first as a Business Development Manager and later as a Business Development professional at CSI Group. Al was responsible for prospecting new clients, cold calling, attending industry functions, and presenting and consulting with senior management. Al effectively managed the CRM system to track and record activity on prospects and close opportunities.

In 2017, Al joined Columbia Tech as a Commodity Manager, a role they held until 2020. Finally, they returned to Sager Electronics in 2020 as a Regional Product Manager, demonstrating their commitment to the industry. Overall, Al has a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success.

Al Patterson attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1972 to 1974. During this time, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, which they successfully completed.
