CEO ~ Global at Sagittarius

Ian MacArthur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ian is currently the CEO of Sagittarius, a global company, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CXO/CCO of Sagittarius from July 2019 to August 2021. Ian also worked as the Global Digital Strategy Director at Sagittarius from April 2018 to July 2019, leading a division focused on conversion rate optimization.

Before joining Sagittarius, Ian held various roles at different organizations. From March 2021 to the present, they served as the Co-Chair of the Charity Council at BIMA (British Interactive Media Association). Ian was also a member of the UK Charities Council at BIMA from November 2018 to March 2021.

In 2012, Ian worked as a Senior Consultant for Digital Transformation at Econsultancy until April 2018. During the same period, they were the CEO and Founder of Once We Were, where they helped optimize brand performance for various brands across sectors.

Ian also worked as an NED/Advisor for Brand Strategy for the Technology sector at TechComms from April 2016 to March 2018. In addition, they held the position of an Executive Board Member at BIMA from October 2013 to December 2015.

Ian's earlier experiences include serving as the CMO at NSPCC from May 2011 to December 2011, Director of Digital Strategy and Transformation at NSPCC from December 2009 to July 2011, Executive Creative Director and Head of Brand Marketing at NSPCC from September 2007 to April 2011, Deputy Director of Communications at NSPCC from October 2009 to November 2010, Creative Director at NSPCC from April 2006 to August 2007, and Head of Design at NSPCC from March 2004 to April 2006.

Before their time at NSPCC, Ian co-founded and served as CEO of Attack, a full-service creative agency, from 1998 to 2006. Ian also worked as the Senior Creative and Head of Client Services at Barnardo's from October 1995 to February 2004.

Overall, Ian MacArthur has demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, brand strategy, and marketing across a variety of industries, and they have held leadership positions at both global companies and nonprofit organizations.

Ian MacArthur attended West Hatch from 1985 to 1990. After completing their studies at West Hatch, they enrolled at the University of East London from 1990 to 1992. At the university, they pursued a degree in Design, specializing in Brand, Colour Theory, Customer insight/planning/marketing. Ian successfully obtained an ND (awarded with merit) upon completion of their degree.
