Sahih Therapy is a California based telehealth psychotherapy practice serving individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children across the state. Sahih, صحيح, is Arabic for authentic, sound, and true. It is the standard founder Hira Kissana built this practice to hold.

Sahih was created after Hira heard the same sentence in her therapy room again and again: this is the first time I have felt that a therapist really cared. For her, that was never simply praise. It was a reflection of how many people had moved through therapy feeling unseen, mismatched, or forced to leave important parts of themselves outside the room.

Sahih was built to offer something more thoughtful. We believe the relationship between client and therapist is the work. We offer EMDR, somatic and trauma informed therapy, and holistic care that considers the full context of a person’s life so healing is not only understood intellectually, but felt, integrated, and sustained.

What distinguishes Sahih is our matching process. We move more intentionally than a traditional practice because we do not match based on first availability. Hira personally curates each match with care, depth, and discernment, even when that means bringing on the right clinician specifically for you. Even if and when it takes longer to match you, quality remains the key value.

Sahih is for people seeking more than a provider. It is for people seeking care that feels deeply human, highly considered, and true.
