Professor Cedric Bardy is a neurobiologist with extensive expertise in human neural stem cell models, electrophysiology, and single-cell transcriptomics. Currently based at Flinders University and SAHMRI, Cedric directs the Laboratory for Human Neurophysiology and Genetics and focuses on developing innovations in stem cell biotechnology and understanding neurological disorders. Cedric earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2008 and completed postdoctoral training at the Pasteur Institute in Paris and the Salk Institute in California. Notably, Cedric is the inventor of BrainPhys, a neuronal medium for culturing human neurons, and contributed to landmark research on iPSC models for Alzheimer's disease.
