John Roberts

John Roberts has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. John has worked as a Head of Quality Assurance and Analytical and Compliance Lead at Sai Life Sciences Ltd since November 2019. Prior to that, they were a Pharma CMC Consultant, providing analytical strategy consulting services for small molecule pharmaceutical product development. John has also worked at GSK, where they held various roles including Head Global External Development & Supply Analytical, Team Manager, and Project Leader. John started their career at SmithKline Beecham as an Analytical Team Leader, Project Chromatographer, and Spectroscopist. Throughout their career, John has specialized in HPLC/GC method development/validation, data integrity, analytical sections of regulatory submissions, troubleshooting, and training.

John Roberts earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Chemistry from Coventry University in 1985. John then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Aston University between 1985 and 1989.
