Frederick Holzgrefe is the current President and CEO at Saia. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President of Business Development for Golden Peanut Company from January 2006 to September 2014. In this role, Frederick lead the Argentine, South African, and Hull & Fiber business units as well as the Business Development, IT, and Food Safety groups. From January 2003 to December 2006, Frederick served as the VP/Director of Finance for CPKelco where they were responsible for financial planning, analysis, and management reporting in support of executive leadership and served as business line financial leader. Frederick's experience also includes a role as Director of Finance for Commworks Division of 3Com from January 2000 to December 2003 where they were responsible for managing Financial Planning and Analysis for telecommunications equipment infrastructure division prior to scheduled IPO. Frederick provided decision support for executive leadership during period of dramatic organizational change resulting from telecommunications transformation. Their additional experience includes positions such as Senior Finance Manager for The Pillsbury Company from January 1996 to December 2000 and Senior Associate for Coopers & Lybrand from January 1994 to December 1996.

Frederick Holzgrefe's educational career consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. Frederick also has a bachelors degree from Lafayette Central Catholic High School.
