Amanda Able has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and has extensive experience in Safety and Mission Assurance for the International Space Station, as well as Quality Engineering for GE Aviation. They have served in roles ranging from Mechanical Engineer Co-op to Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, managing compliance and ensuring quality in aviation systems. Passionate about space and engineering, Amanda is currently focused on structures and mechanisms supporting the International Space Station and Gateway Programs. Outside of work, they enjoy amateur astronomy, meteorology, and exploring new adventures with their family.
