David Borger

David Borger is currently an Air Traffic Control Instructor at SAIC, where they instruct new air traffic controllers at the O’Hare airport traffic control tower. They previously served as an Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation Administration from 1985 to 2017, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft movement in the National Airspace System. David worked as a Remote Pilot at SAIC from 2020 to 2021, operating computer-controlled aircraft during simulator training. Earlier in their career, David held positions as Assistant Station Manager at Wings West Airlines and provided security at the College of San Mateo. They studied Aviation at San Jose State University and earned an Associate's Degree in Aeronautics from the College of San Mateo.
