Douglas Berman

Douglas Berman is currently a Principal Systems Engineer at SAIC, where they lead initiatives in mission system engineering and payload integration for National Security Space programs. They previously held positions at Northrop Grumman, contributing as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer on the ESPAStar-D Product Line. Douglas has interned with notable organizations such as VT iDirect, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Triple Five, and was actively involved in undergraduate research at Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and are pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. Their diverse experience includes roles in mechanical and quality engineering, fluid dynamics research, and project management in engineering teams.
