James Rowland

James Rowland is the Deputy Director of Engineering at SAIC, where they lead with integrity, innovation, and inclusion. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, program management, and information security operations, James has also served as a licensed attorney focusing on privacy and intellectual property. Earlier in their career, they held multiple roles in the US Navy, including Deputy Department Head and Project Officer, where they managed large teams and significant national security projects. James holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Denver, a Master’s in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, and an MBA from Seattle University.
