Keith Williams is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in the fields of electrical and computer engineering, physics, and materials science. From 2001 to 2004, Williams served as a Postdoc at TU Delft, focusing on nano-biophysics and the attachment of carbon nanotubes to DNA via PNA. Since August 2004, Williams has held a visiting professor position at the University of Virginia's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and since August 2017, has also been an Associate Professor and Director of Introductory Engineering Programs at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Williams has significant industry experience as Chief Technology Officer at Leidos, coordinating intellectual property review and strategy since November 2010, and previously managing large government contracts at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. Williams completed a PhD in Physics with a concentration in materials physics at Penn State University from 1998 to 2001.
