Michael Mixon

Michael Mixon is a Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC, where they advise U.S. Navy UAS program executives on airspace integration matters. They previously served as a Military Officer in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 2007, taking on various roles including Air Traffic Controller and Mission Commander. Additionally, Michael worked as a Consultant for Saint Joe Systems, LLC and held positions at Navigator Development Group, Inc. and BICALLIS, LLC, focusing on unmanned aviation and airspace management. They hold a Master of Arts in International Relations from Salve Regina University and a Master of Strategic Studies from the USAF Air War College.
