Mitchell Birtner

Mitchell Birtner is an accomplished professional in systems engineering and program management with extensive experience in defense and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as GMASS Program Director and Deputy Program Manager at SAIC since April 2024, Mitchell previously held key roles at nou Systems, Inc., including Senior Systems Engineer and Test Lead for missile defense systems. Prior experience includes serving as System Engineering Manager at Harris Corporation, where support was provided for the Command and Control Weapon System, and as Training Operations Manager at Northrop Grumman, facilitating training for military command and control operations. Mitchell's career began in the United States Air Force, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and related fields from the University of Phoenix.
