Pedro Lopez is a retired Interface Control Officer, Tactical Action Officer, Air Defense Officer, Air Intercept Controller Supervisor (TOPGUN), and Master Training Specialist. During their service aboard USS Makin Island from 2018 to 2022, they prepared and coordinated plans and reports to implement Air and Missile Defense Commander capabilities. From 2010 to 2015, they served at USS Chancellorsville, supervising tactical aircraft operations and ensuring the accurate positioning of aircraft during air defense operations. Additionally, from 2015 to 2018, they were the Assistant Fleet Command Center Director and Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Commander U.S. Pacific Fleet. Currently, they work as an Air Defense Subject Matter Expert at SAIC, developing advanced war game scenarios to support Navy training objectives.
