Putnam Browne

Putnam Browne (RDML USN RET) is a retired Naval Officer with 34 years of distinguished service, having led various aviation and ship operations including the F/A-18 fighter squadron VFA-34, the amphibious ship USS GREEN BAY, and the aircraft carrier USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN. They served as the Director of the Navy’s 21st Century Sailor Office and the Assessment Division, providing independent analysis to top-level stakeholders. Putnam holds a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Government Affairs at SAIC, continuing to leverage their team-oriented management skills to create high-performing groups.
