Steve Ratts

Steve Ratts is an INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional with over twenty-nine years of experience in weapon system design, integration, and testing. Currently serving as the Modeling/Sim Chief Engineer at SAIC, they specialize in Model-Based Systems Engineering and have a focus on System Security Architecture. Previously, as a Staff Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, they developed cryptographic system architectures and led teams through critical system-level reviews. Notable for being the lead inventor on several cybersecurity patents, Steve is passionate about the application of System Security Engineering principles, particularly in Anti-Tamper and Cryptography. They hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona.
