Travis Dawson

Travis Dawson is the Deputy Program Manager at SAIC, currently supporting the NASA IV&V Program. They have a rich career in aerospace, with experience at NASA, L-3 Communications, and Lockheed Martin, focusing on guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C), software development, and independent verification and validation (IV&V). Travis held various roles, including Program Manager and Project Manager, leading efforts on notable projects such as MAVEN and the X-33 flight vehicle. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from NYIT. Prior to their current position, Travis served as a Colonel in the US Air Force Reserve and was involved in multiple significant aerospace initiatives.
