Ty Brown

Ty Brown is a Senior Security Principal at SAIC and currently serves as the Deputy Director of Security for the Department of Energy's Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence. With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, special operations, security administration, and intelligence, Ty previously held several leadership roles, including Chief Security Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard and Deputy Division Chief at U.S. Transportation Command. Ty's military service includes being a U.S. Air Force Officer from 2001 to 2015, with multiple tours in Southwest Asia, Europe, and Africa. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Weber State University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Intelligence (Terrorism Studies) from American Military University.
