Jonathan White possesses extensive experience in oceanography and leadership within both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the Chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee at Clarendon UMC since January 2023, Jonathan also fulfills roles on the Ocean Advisory Board for Saildrone Inc and as a member of the Environmental Information Services Working Group under NOAA. Previous positions include President and CEO of the Consortium for Ocean Leadership and various significant roles within the US Navy, including Oceanographer and Navigator and Commander of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Meteorology and Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanographic Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
