Sam Ramji

Sam Ramji is an accomplished executive and investor with extensive experience in technology and research. Currently, Sam serves as the CEO and co-founder of Sailplane, focusing on Hierarchical Planning in production environments, while also contributing as an AI Scout at True Ventures and as a board member at UC San Diego. With a strong advisory role at The Linux Foundation and as an investor in several startups, including Featureform and NextData Technologies, Ramji is deeply involved in advancing machine learning and data solutions. Sam's previous positions include Chief Strategy Officer at Fletch and strategic advisor at DataStax. Sam earned a BS in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego and a certificate in Action in Management from the Institute for Generative Leadership.
