Daniel Thuss

Daniel Thuss is currently the Manager of Solutions Engineering for Identity Security Technical Specialists at SailPoint, leading a team focused on Identity Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Governance solutions across the Americas. Previously, Thuss served as the Director of Solutions Engineering for Zero Trust Security at Akamai Technologies, achieving 3x growth in the Enterprise Security business while managing a high-performance team across various regions. Thuss also held roles as Lead Solutions Engineer for Emerging Products and pioneered the Specialist Solutions Engineering function at Akamai. Earlier experience includes serving as an Expat Senior Systems Engineer for ADTRAN in the Middle East and Africa, where technical expertise spanned across Fiber, DSL, and networking solutions, along with supporting sales efforts in the US Midwest. Thuss holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University, and participated in a student exchange program at IMT Atlantique focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Sciences.
