Derek Matthews

Derek Matthews is an experienced professional in the field of identity governance and security solutions, currently serving as the Solution Engineering Manager for Federal, SLED, and Healthcare teams at SailPoint since December 2017. In this role, Derek manages all technical aspects of customer engagements and relationships related to SailPoint's Identity Governance platforms. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Senior Sales Engineer focused on healthcare identity governance at SailPoint and held roles at One Identity as a Security Solutions Architect, and at Dell Federal as a Systems Consultant specializing in identity and access management solutions. Derek's earlier experiences include project coordination at TLO/TransUnion and various technical positions with RepliWeb, NTT/Verio, and TEKSystems Inc. Derek is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology Management at Western Governors University and has completed executive education in sales management and team leadership.
