Mike Kiser

Mike Kiser is an accomplished Director of Strategy and Standards at SailPoint, where responsibilities include advocating for identity issues with a focus on privacy, identity, and ethics. Since August 2015, Mike has played a pivotal role in strategizing across marketing, product, and sales, while effectively communicating SailPoint's vision at various industry conferences. Mike also engages in independent research regarding privacy and adversarial technology, contributing to notable events such as Black Hat and DefCon. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Strategist at IBM, where Mike developed competitive strategies for a substantial enterprise security portfolio, and as a Security Architect, creating complex security solutions. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Additionally, Mike holds a position on the Executive Advisory Board of the Identity Defined Security Alliance.
