Omer Baig

Omer Baig is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Security Operations at SailPoint since March 2024. Prior to this role, Omer held significant positions at Google, where responsibilities included leading Threat Hunting Operations and Remediation, and served as the Head of Global Cyber Defense Operations at Mandiant from July 2016 to November 2022. Omer's extensive background also includes serving as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, a SOC Lead at GBTI Solutions for the Library of Congress, and a Cyber Security Specialist at ManTech. Omer holds a Master of Science in Management & Leadership and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University, along with a bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on IT Management.
