Rex Booth

Rex Booth is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at SailPoint since September 2022, focusing on enterprise and product security. Previously, Rex held significant positions including Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the Executive Office of the President, where responsibilities involved establishing the Office of the National Cyber Director, and Senior Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, enhancing stakeholder engagement within the cyber community. Additional roles include Chief of Cyber Threat Analysis at CISA, Chief Information Security Officer for the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee, Deputy CISO at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and management positions at KPMG and Mandiant. Rex co-founded the OWASP DC chapter and possesses a strong educational background with multiple degrees in Computer Science, Political Science, and Information System & Technology Management.
