Sainik School Rewari was inaugurated on 29th Aug 2008 by Shri. AK Antony, Hon’ble Raksha Mantri. The permanent location  of the school is at village Gothra Tappa Khori, District. Rewari (Haryana), situated 15 km south – west of Rewari town on Rewari – Narnaul Road.

The primary aim of the school is to prepare boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla. The school enables boys from economically weaker sections of the society to take up a challenging and high status career as an officer in the Defence Services of India. Character building, dedication, patriotic outlook and esprit-de-corps and the qualities which are promoted by the Sainik Schools.
