Benoit Bazin

After studying in France and the United States, and four years spent at CIRI and the Treasury Department, Mr. Benoit Bazin joined Saint Gobain in 1999. There he held various positions in France and, from 2002, in the United States - in an operational role within the High Performance Materials Division, then in 2005 was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain.

From 2009 to the end of 2015, Mr. Benoit Bazin headed the Building Distribution Division. In 2010, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain. From 2016 to the end of 2018, Mr. Benoit Bazin headed the Construction Products Division. During 2017, he also served as President and CEO of CertainTeed Corporation in the United States. Since January 1, 2019, he has been Deputy CEO of the Saint-Gobain Group, Mr. Benoit Bazin has also been a director of Vinci since June 18, 2020; in this capacity, he is a member of the Compensation Committee and of the Appointments and Governance Committee.

He was also a director and member of the Audit and Risk Committee of Essilor between 2009 and 2017, a committee he chaired from May 2016 to March 2017. Benoit Bazin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain as of July 1, 2021.
