Eric Nielsen is a passionate, data-driven leader in energy and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Energy Management at Saks Global since 2025. Previously, Eric directed the energy and sustainability program at Bedrock Detroit, overseeing various initiatives that enhanced sustainability and energy efficiency. With a foundation in laboratory analysis from roles at ExxonMobil and Labtech Specialty Staffing, Eric also managed energy operations for AMC Theatres and Dollar Tree Stores, focusing on utility management and sustainability reporting. Currently, Eric is pursuing multiple degrees in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Environmental Science and Engineering at Benedictine College and the University of Kansas.
