Salanga is a global social impact organization advancing community-led development and meaningful MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning).
At the core of our work is Colmeal — a practical methodology we created and steward. Colmeal guides communities to define, measure, and drive their own change using evidence they own and trust. It is embedded in programs by partners such as ADRA, ACTED, and World Renew across 9 countries and 120+ communities, and has been adopted by government institutions. Communities don't just generate data — they use it to influence decisions, resource allocation, and accountability systems.
Alongside Colmeal, we support organizations to strengthen their MEAL systems — moving from compliance to learning, and from data collection to community-owned evidence. Our team has designed and implemented MEAL systems for more than 100 organizations, from grassroots actors to large international NGOs.
We also develop Kinaki, a cloud-based MEAL platform that helps organizations collect, manage, analyze, and use data more effectively.
Salanga operates from Ottawa (Canada) and Pilsen (Czech Republic), with active work across Africa, Asia, North America, and Europe.
