David Dempsey

Dr. David Dempsey is a retired Country Leader and General Manager at Salesforce Ireland, where they led a workforce of over 2,000 employees based in Dublin. As a Senior Vice President for EMEA Corporate Relations, they sat on the Salesforce European Leadership Team and were instrumental in expanding the company from a small Irish startup to a pan-European business. David co-founded Salesforce Europe in 2000 and oversaw its growth across multiple regions. They hold an MBA (2006) and a DBA (2015) from Waterford Institute of Technology, and authored the book 'Industry Trends in Cloud Computing,' published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2018. Prior to Salesforce, David was the Head of Consulting Services for Oracle from 1989 to 2000.
