Gary Chiang has extensive experience in software engineering and automation across various companies. From February 2013 to December 2014, Gary worked at HootSuite as an Automation Engineer, where internal tools were developed, and build and deploy pipelines were designed for a SOA platform. Prior to that, Gary served as Automation Team Lead at The Active Network, leading an offshore team and developing an in-house hybrid data-keyword driven automation framework from 2011 to 2013. Since January 2015, Gary has been a Lead Software Engineer (LMTS) at Salesforce, acting as Scrum Master and architecting test frameworks to support over 100 engineers while advocating for practices such as continuous integration and quality assurance. Gary started in the field as a Test Automation Engineer at HSBC from 2010 to 2011, where design and maintenance of automation scripts were key responsibilities.
